The Cubbies choked again, losing the game on Wrigley’s 100th birthday in the 9th. Typical fans would be out for another 100 years. Cubs fans will be back and ready for action by tomorrow.
Oh yeah, and this is an injury blog. Mark Trumbo missed the game with a suspected stress fracture in his left foot. More on Mr. Trumbo’s absence from the game as more information becomes available. If, indeed, he has a stress fracture, he may miss 4 or more months.
