It’s just a virus?
The Rockies became the first team in the 2010s to move two players to the DL due to a “viral infection” now that Josh Rutledge and Wilin Rosario are both out.
No word yet on how long the Rockies expect Mr. Rosario to miss but ultimately I think the time frame depends on whether or not he turns into a zombie as Nolan Arenado has suggested.
It is not clear that either has received their obligatory Z-pak…
Side note: I am reasonably confident that this is not the virus ravaging the Rockies’ clubhouse (especially since it only infects bacteria) but it looks like some terrifying microscopic spider/scorpion hybrid.
